Hello everyone, Jordan here, this’ll be a quick one. So, I’ve been diving into this lifelong dream of quilting lately—finally got myself the materials (second- or third-hand of course), a Singer machine and everything—and it’s been pretty great. Growing up Mennonite, sewing circles were one of the few spaces where people (mostly women) gathered, connected, and got creative with the purpose of helping others. That idea’s been rattling around in my brain for awhile now, and I thought: why not create something like that, but, you know, updated? Enter an experiment: an online creative circle. Super low-key. No rules, no themes—just a space to show up, work on whatever creative thing you’re into (sewing, drawing, painting, whatever), and hang out with some good humans. Here’s the deal: The Monday Sewing Circle 🗓️ When: Bi-weekly Mondays, starting January 27 ⏰ Time: 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM PST 📍 Where: Google Meet You can add the meet-up directly to your calendar here. I’m also putting together a collaborative Spotify playlist so we can all add some tracks to the vibe. Think of it as a soundtrack to our collective making energy. Sound like your thing? Hit reply, and I’ll save you a spot. Or you can just show up at the link. Can’t wait to see what you’re working on, even if it’s just showing up with a cup of tea and a half-baked idea. Cheers, Jordan
