Hey, I’m Jordan.

I’m an Oakland-based gardener. I grew up in a Mennonite community in Reedley, California, working on stone fruit farms, and after years working as an artist and educator, I’ve found my way back to plants, soil, and working outside.

I’m especially interested in caring for established gardens, working with California native and edible plants, and helping people figure out spaces that have gotten overgrown, neglected, or just need some attention.

I approach gardens a lot like I approach making things: paying attention to what’s already there, figuring out what’s working and what isn’t, and making thoughtful changes from there.
